my movie trailer

To make this movie trailer I as able to get some experience with Video editing software that I had never used before. I do not own any Apple products so thankfully one of my closest friends allowed me to try out Imovie on her Macbook. I found that the program was quick and easy to use, it has a variety of tools and effects that you can add to any kind of video. It makes video editing really quick and easy and should I ever get the opportunity to use Imovie again for any future classroom activities I would surely take it!

  1. This was a really good movie trailer for your genius hour project. It followed the guidelines on leaving a mystery to the overall process of learning how to play the ukulele. I also noticed while watching your movie trailer you shot at a variety of angles which complimented the editing and transitions you decided to input during editing. The music also matched the overall theme of developing the skill. I too used iMovie which I really enjoyed. I am not sure if you noticed (as I noticed after I completed my trailer) iMovie has a pre-made template for creating "Hollywood trailers". I think next time around I would try this template then creating my trailer from scratch.

  2. I love the choice of theme for your movie trailer. I believe it fit perfectly with your genius hour and the music just made your journey seem like something I'd want to follow along with. Your choice of clips matched with each section of the trailer and the way you showed all your sources really tied it all together. I might have added something to be a bit more suspenseful, such as, "will she succeed or not?" Overall, it was a great movie trailer!
